I am getting more and more comfortable in the relationship with T. I had an extra session this week and two sessions two weeks ago. I feel like we are closer than ever before and my dissociation is less frequent (although today I think i floated out the door).

During today's session, we were talking about some heart-heavy topics for me. I brought up some things that have frightened me about past trauma and T said, "We will integrate that in amounts that we can handle.

Later in the session he asked me a question (I can't rememer what...) and then said, "Well, then why do I feel sad?"

He is with me on this journey and I feel more and more like we and less and less alone.

It sounds like you two are having some fruitful sessions. I am pleased. It is always nice to have a dedicated soul to walk the journey with you.

(((Direction, Secret, Mouse, Soidhonia)))

Thank you all for your resonses.

Yes, the work has been productive and I feel very lucky to have someone who is willing to make this difficult journey with me. I believe that the closeness of this relationship will enable me to reach further inside myself and to know myself on a more intimate level; facing those parts that are frightening, scarey and those that I just plain don't like. It's all about the journey, isn't it?

I love that, sister. That's how I think of my T also--a companion on my journey.

Ohhhhhh doesn't that feel awesome! I'm so glad you have gotten to this point in your relationship with him. Last week, my T said something like... there are times when it will be frustrating/difficult for us. It was amazing, I got up and started to dance. No, I didn't. But it would have been funny if I did. Seriously, it really feels amazing when they are the ones to declare the togetherness.

Yes, it felt so good to hear him say this in his very own T voice.

I feel like someone really knows who I am, and that's a relief, because I don't!
