Happy new year!
I am a freshman college student from Japan. I used to live in the United States until 11 and then moved backed to Tokyo. I have been a subject of professional therapy since I was six, but after I returned to Japan, I had little support. Schools in Japan are harsh. Some students get hospitalized from overwork. The social value is completely different of that of the US. I, myself became the victim of it. I lost my health due to stress and personality from forced assimilation. I feel my life is been gravely threaten by my current condition. Hence, I decided to seek help immediately. I cannot trust the Japanese and Japanese value does not fit my value and personality. I have taken numerous service in Japan which turned out to be a drop of bucket. I decided to seek help from the US. Are there any ways to make this come true? |

There are some therapists in the US who use skype with clients. A general search or check out some web pages of therapists - they often list it if they do it.

There are online therapists and apps like Talkspace. Try googling some and check them out.

Thank you. Are these therapy expensive or require credit card to pay fees? I heard that American therapy are expensive without medical insurance. Also, I am just a student so I can't own credit card or electronically transfer money to other country until I am 21. my parents are not willing to support me for all of that.

I just googled "American therapist in Japan" and a few results came up- perhaps one of those might be suitable, and would also have a good understanding of the two cultures.
