I quit my t today m. But she is probably relieved that I am no longer a client. Feel so much grief. There's so many things that make sense now that show she was growing tired of me. I can't trust mental health professionals. Everyone will betray you.

boy that's a long time. Although I for one disagree that ALL mental health professionals have an agenda against us, I tend to think you might have been right to end this relationship. It seems to me that I too would have expected some improvement in that time. What a shame. I am sorry this hasn't worked out.

Do you think there might come a time when you could feel it's right to start therapy wiith a new practitioner?

In the meantime, do you have an alternate plan of action regarding self-care? Give yourself some time to adapting without the therapist but maybe consider some self directed help. There is a lot available out there.

I just don't know why he hates me. He introduced new boundaries out of nowhere.

this is probably irrelevant but you alternate between calling your T he and she. are they male or female?? 4 years is a long time. why did they introduce new boundaries? ive thought my T hates me sometimes but thats never the case... i make a lot of assumptions up in my head about him. i find it best to just be open and direct and get clarification

I am sorry you are hurting. 4years is a long time to see one t. I would be grieving too just like if any other relationship ended. I think the other posters said everything I wanted to say and I do believe that a lot of mental Heath practitioners are untrustworthy but there are a few that are 200% trustworthy. Can you find another t to support you through your grief ?
