What are you hoping someone like that could provide that your current therapist can't?

I guess I was just thinking more information, etc. Though fortunately, I did clear up some stuff with my therapist and she did apologize for seemingly minimizing my worries. And we talked. It was a good talk, actually, a pretty honest one. I don't know if I agree with everything she said, but we had a good talk. And she has worked with victims of female perpetrators before, so there is that. That was comforting.
I guess I should at least look at the stuff that's not benefiting me and try and deal with that. Best I can do. |
