This is a weird question, and probably is a simple answer. I have been seeing my T1 every week lately because of some things, and I see him this Thursday. Next week I have surgery scheduled, but it's in the afternoon. I'm thinking if I can get an appointment, to have a session in the morning before surgery. I worry that if I don't have a session next week, I might not be up for it the week after surgery, and thus go 3 weeks in between sessions.

I think that sounds like a fine idea. I would do it.
Thanks for this!

Agreed! And could you maybe have, say, a phone session or something like that the week or two after surgery?
Thanks for this!

Not sure about a phone session, he doesn't offer more than a check in over the phone. It should be ano easy surgery, so recovery shouldn't be more than a week tops. I just rather go 2 weeks at most between sessions right now.
Thanks for this!

Thanks guys. I was actually able to schedule a session the morning of my surgery, which is great. I told my T that it's scheduled next week in the afternoon, and he was perfectly okay with me coming in beforehand.
