I found this book about different errors that can be made in therapy and I think a lot of us in here could benefit from reading it. I havenīt read the whole book yet but part of it is available online. It sums up 50 different therapist errors and gives us as clients an opportunity to read about the things that frustrates us and makes us disappointed in many ways and to see that a lot of things really do have to do with the therapists way of acting.

Recommended read! Perhaps some of you have already read this.

How to fail as a therapist: 50+ ways to lose or damage your patients, by Bernard Schwartz.
Thanks for this!

This looks fantastic, thanks for posting it!

When I first saw the subject line... I thought maybe you were creating your own list. And, I had already started thinking of what I could add . I was really surprised to see that it's an actual, real book!!!
Thanks for this!

Here's the Google Books link: How to fail as a therapist

The table of contents has 50 chapters, so I'm guessing those are the 50 ways, even though every chapter isn't online. Looks pretty comprehensive!
Thanks for this!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
