I'm already nervous about tomorrow, both because I have a therapy session an hour before I have to go to the hospital for surgery. I'm not sure how deep we'll go into things, but the last few sessions we've been getting into some deep things. Last session we talked about writing a letter to my husband about the SA I'm dealing with, and I want to bring it into session before I give it to my husband.

I'm also very nervous about my surgery and the fact I have a few bad SH marks right now, so I'll probably bring that up too if we have time.

I just need encouragement to get through tonight and tomorrow.

The Skeezyks extends to you his best wishes for success both with your therapy session & your surgery.

Best wishes for the session and the surgery. It's pretty brave to do both in one day.
Thanks for this!

Thanks everyone. My anxiety is through the roof today, I've been constantly to the point of tears. I'm hoping I can get some crafting in tonight, and finish my letter to try and relax.

Thank you, I actually did end up doing some crafting last night. Stayed up until 2 am making a few things and writing my letter/journal.

Session is in 2 hours, and heading to the hospital afterwards for surgery. Hopefully I can update between the 2.

Update...

Session was very hard, gave him the letter ive.been working on and we talked about it most of the session. My surgery went fine.until I got in the recovery room.and had the worst panic attack I've ever had. They decided to keep me.overnight instead of letting me go home right away.

Did you tell them you were panicking? When I had my c-section, once my daughter was born and H went to see her for a minute, I started freaking out because I was numb from the chest down. I mentioned that, and the anesthesiologist put something in my IV that made me calm down so quickly...wish I knew what it was and could get it outpatient! But please tell them if you're freaking out or in pain. Glad they're keeping you to make sure you're OK, though I know being in the hospital sucks...

Yeah, they knew I was.panicking because I was crying and asking the nurse why they didn't let me die. Really weird for me, and I don't really know what came over me. I've never freaked out like this before.

Could have been a reaction to the anesthesia maybe? Or you were just overwhelmed by everything. Hope you're feeling better today

I think it was a combination of the two. I've been feeling really overwhelmed lately, and I think the medication just caused me to be very loopy. All the staff and my obgyn were extremely helpful though.
