I love the idea of the blanket while sad (or not) but sans the other person -- even at my most depressed, I've wanted to punch the other person (no matter who) to get them the heck away from me (and preferably not have anyone around within a 10-mile radius).
Thanks for this!

Restaurants in the Southwest often serve cactus (fruit). It's really good.

The Couch is made out of whatever you want it to be-leather, fabric, compassion, companionship, happiness etc. It is YOUR couch.

I am serious - even the kindest of caretakers could not overcome my horror at being bound.
I experienced this when I was in the med-surg hospital. I hated being attached to IV's and other thingamabobs that restrained my movement.

(I'll stop my colorful examples here for sd)

I'm squishing down in the cushions, if someone would build me a blanket fort they can share. Just don't touch me today.

My T and I were talking choldhood heros and my childhood hero was Keith Moon. I am still telling people the story(whether they want to hear it ornot) of how Keith bit Steve mcQueens guard dog on the ear, I so wanted to be him.

On the way out we saw these guys! I wasn't as close to them as it looks - we were in the car driving out - my camera has a good zoom!

And in between stops to take pics today as we were driving - h & I had a good heart-to-heart and we were both crying and it was very emotional but a good talk nonetheless about a lot of things. I suppose I take back what I said earlier about this much togetherness not being good for my marriage.... we'll see how the rest of the trip goes.... it's late afternoon Sunday here now, we're heading home tomorrow morning at some point.

I'm glad you weren't driving home today Art (I thought you were). It's been stormy here all day. It'd be a miserable drive. Hopefully be better tomorrow.

My eldest son turns 27 tomorrow. He's making me old!! I probably won't see him. Mondays are my crazy days with chorus in the evening. But I gave him and his fiancee tickets to our concert later this month; fiancee's b-day is early May, so the concert is midway between. She's having gallbladder surgery two days before the concert, but she should be in decent enough shape to go.

I wrenched my back somehow this weekend, not really sure what I did. Moving hurts no matter how gentle I am. It's going to make for a painful day tomorrow. I do that once or twice a year. Not fun.

My sister and my mom Facetimed me today. We had a nice visit. Sis want me to go down again this summer at some point. I'll need to see what is on my calendar. Not sure I'll be able to fit it in or not. Maybe in July. I'll have to think about it.
