So, let's just get this straight, SD: you're against the whooping but it's OK if I swing on the chandelier?

How does it have an end if it's circular? Can't we just have a Jell-O shot slip n slide altogether? Like a Jello-O lazy river with booze?

Stopdog, we need you on the world travels too. Someone needs to make sure we get on the right Nightlink. Otherwise we might end up in Tallaght

Thanks for starting the new couch. I would have but session was actually really healing and really exhausting and then I had to force myself to do errands and couldn't think straight. Laying here in bed hoping for sleep but I'm still processing session and doubt sleep will find me.

The runty puppy is was desexed today. He is looking very forlorn on the floor. He has one of those cones so he can't bite his stitches. He has tried unsuccessfully to snuggle with his bear but it was futile. On th other hand we subjected him to the indignity of dressing him up while he was bombed out.

If anyone is still interested in what my T;s thoughts on the purpose of feelings are, here it is. He said feelings are how we see and interact with the world and how the world sees and interacts with us. They give different colours to our perception (this was a reference to a colourblindness talk we had. If I was suddenly not colourblind I could see the colour red but I can't unsee it now I know what it is,) My limited set of feelings mainly happy, sd and angry have served a purpose some where in my life and over the last 10-15 years I have "discovered" they don't serve me so well. So coming to therapy is broadening my repertoire of feelings so I can better interact with the world instead of just sometimes riding roughshod over people s feelings because I didn't know they had any. Apparently this will make my life easier. We will see.
Did that make sense? I am so so tired

I sort of hit my Biology professor today. We (the other students, I, and he) were in the lab. He touched my shoulder - I flinched and said "Don't touch me" - I think he thought I was joking, so he touched me again. I elbowed him in the stomach.
He apologized, and things went on as usual. I actually get along with him really well. He wasn't inappropriate - I just don't like to BE touched, although I don't always mind initiating touch. Chances are I once touched him and he therefore assumed it was OK he touch me.
