I just read this entire book, it was that good. If you are ever considering EMDR, I recommed this one. I have read I think most of the books on this, and this is my favorite one.

The author, who is a T , talks about her personal experience with EMDR during training, and talks about her experiences with it as being a T. The stories are incredible and can give a lot of hope for people. I know EMDR changed my life.

Thanks for the rec. I've been considering trying to learn more about EMDR, and possibly emotional freedom techniques (although I don't like that it comes from a religious point-of-view).

Maven, I have used both EMDR and EFT. (I didn't realize EFT had a religious slant.) Anyway, if you go to You Tube and type in "emotional freedom technique," there is a guy who goes through the entire tapping protocol for different issues so you know what to expect. If I can find it, I'll post a link.

Geez, there are a bunch of EFT videos at YouTube, LOL! Thanks! I'll check them out! It's not that EFT has a religious slant, but the creator of the technique mentions that it's a spiritual thing but says you don't have to be religious to use it.

Thank you for the link, happyflowergirl!

Hi John,

I hope you like the book, I read it all in a day, I was that hooked on it. It is helping me get ready for my EMDR session tomorrow. I am kinda scared.
