My therapist finally texted me this morning to tell me that she could see me tomorrow afternoon. Like, finally. I'm so relieved just to have this appointment. But now I'm anxious: is she going to terminate me? Is she going to keep working with me but with new boundaries? Anything is possible. I'll know where I stand tomorrow I guess.

Given the way she has treated you, is this really cause for celebration?

It's basically saying "Yay! After months of having no therapist, and then being jerked around on her return with cryptic messages, my calls ignored, my anxiety and abandonment issues massively triggered, this person has agreed to let me pay her to abuse me some more!"

It's like watching a dog run back to get kicked at this point.

I hope it goes well for you but please, don't let her dictate the rules of engagement. What she did seems really bad and yes, there may be a good reason but...just don't let her treat you poorly. it is not acceptable to jerk clients around.

Thank you guys for all the replies! I hope my session will be productive and that my therapist will provide an explanation for her behaviour. I'm so nervous and anxious right now. My appointment is in 4 hours. I hope I won't get too angry and I hope she won't get defensive.
