I spoke to my therapist in Friday, and he put me back on a hold. Now I'm on a short term certification cuz I ripped out my stitches while in here. I really hate this place because they don't have any groups, and all the staff are horribly rude. I want to go to a different facility but my insurance says I don't need a higher level of care at a hospital.

I got released today, wasn't able to be transferred even after I severely hurt myself by jamming office staples into my abdomen through an old scar and need surgery on Monday. The psych hospital didn't do anything for me, no groups, spent my days sleeping or reading. Don't know what to do now...whether to try to get into a different hospital after my surgery or wait it out and see what my therapist says on Thursday.

Just wondering how things are going. Are you scheduled for surgery on Monday? Will you be staying at the hospital overnight?

I see both my T1 and T2 on Thursday thankfully. I can stay with my mom with only my youngest kid which isn't really an option. Trying to work on getting my nursing license to get a job to become financially independent for now. It's not the best answer, but it's what I'm working on for now.

I'm sorry... you didn't deserve what your husband did to you. I wish I could think of a faster option for leaving him. It's a horrible situation to keep living through. I know it's not an awesome option, but can you go to a shelter (with your kids)? |
