Just got the call from the hospital. I am going in tomorrow morning to get the second opinion that my pdoc wants. They say the average stay is 18 days. I really hope I am not in that long. The good news is that I am allowed to have a phone. Never allowed that before so at least I will be able to email my T.

I am just really freaking out about this. I don't know what to expect because it is supposed to be different than my other hospital stays since it is not an emergency/stabilization type thing.

Any calming words of wisdom?

Seems like a really long stay for a second opinion. Hope it goes well for you though.

My youngest gave me one of his stuffed animals to bring with me so I wouldn't be alone.

Well today is my third day in the hospital. Didn't sleep at all the first night. The switched my meds the first day. Was a little low yesterday morning but then I think I started to get a little hypomanic. Got about 5 hours of sleep last night. My family is supposed to come visit today so that is good. A little worried how long I will be here though. Most have been here about a month already.

Ok kind of cycling back down towards depression again right now. See how low it actually dips.
