On Monday night I was hospitalized. My T and her supervisor wanted to keep me safe since I've been suicidal and hopeless so they decided that was best for me to keep me safe. Overall it was a positive experience. I did have to spend my birthday there so that wasn't the best since I wanted to spend it with my family, but the other teens there made me cards and that was really sweet I also got cake. I was only there for three days but I learned coping skills and that it's okay to ask for help. The staff was nice too.
I also realized that others do care for me and also how much my T cares about me. She was just looking out for me

I'm glad you had a good experience there. Sounds like your T was just trying to keep you safe. Happy Birthday!

Are you feeling better now?

That's good to have a good experience and learn coping skills , and also to learn and accept that other people DO care about us and how we are. Happy belated birthday and also that you've found a safe place here with us to share and be supported and encouraged

I feel much better now! It was scary at first but I'm just happy to be home with my family and excited to start junior year next Monday.
