Does anyone know of any online books, in PDF format / web sites / books available from the library, ECT, free information, pertaining to non-specific maladaptive behavioural traits in regards to self-help therapy?

I need a heads up before I get stuck with group therapy next month, I need to be able to shut the therapists down when they try and get me to participate in group, I don’t do group well, or to put it more politely, I don’t play well with others, hence my so called lack of social skills will become a issue, and a opening for them, I need to portray to them that it is not a issue, and politely tell them to move on in a clinical manner.

I know they are going to push the issue, or me more specifically, to participate in a group setting, its there job, I would expect nothing less for what they charge, I have agreed to go, but not participate, that will soon change if they have anything to do with it, I will participate when I feel comfortable and not before, if ever.

My OCD will not allow me to go into this situation “blind” I have a pretty good handle on why I do what I do, herein lies the problem, from what I learned about the therapists I will be working with they don’t “think outside the box” I need to be able to vocalise my thought processors in a context they will understand, IE text book responses to effectively shut them down at every pass until I am ready to talk.
