I am scheduled to see my T weekly but I almost always find it too little. I feel guilty that I feel that way even though I see her weekly. How often do you see your Ts?

I see her weekly but would have liked to see her twice a week. T can't see me more often because she only sees clients two days a week. She teaches at a University other days of the week. Then, I think, she schedules herself a day off during the week, too.

We communicate often during the week between appointments, though. So, I'm good.

Why do you feel guilty? Have you asked your T if you can see her more often?

I see him once a week and I also would like to see him more. My sessions are always way longer so it'd be easier maybe to see him twice.

Usually weekly , but I've done twice weekly for periods where I'm going through a tough time. Sometimes I feel like I'd like to see him twice weekly when I'm on a roll , but I have to watch money as I pay out of pocket. I think there can be a tendency to compare to what other people do / need and feel guilty , but it's always what WE want / need.

i see my T twice a week for individual therapy, once a week for group therapy, and once a week for a social game night type thing (not therapy at all). we also text in between sessions

Me too weekly, but again.. would like 2x a week if I could, one hour a week seems so little.. I feel alot more work could get done if 2x a week, but time and finances prohibit me. .

Twice a week but I am trying to wean down to once a week as I'm not in the bad place I had been. Having trouble making the leap to only once weekly though.

No idea what T and pdoc had to tell my insurance to get that approved... i feel guilty about it and i think i don't deserve it, but it really helps a lot.

Usually every other week except for when i feel all needy like lately i go weekly. Sometimes in the past i went twice a week. If i could afford it (i pay out of pocket, she doesn't take insurance) I'd be going twice a week right now. But even weekly, things happen faster.

It varied from generally around weekly to 10 days-ish. If I was in crisis I might see him more than once in a week. As I started doing better two weeks or more was common.

Hi Schizoid. I'm sorry you feel like you don't see your T enough. I felt like that sometimes when I was going weekly. Can you identify what, exactly, you're missing? Are you lonely/isolated from other people in the rest of your life? Or maybe it's hard to cope with something else between sessions? Maybe if you can identify it exactly, it'll make things easier.

I went weekly for a while, then at the beginning of this year switched to monthly or less. It's kind of nice. I "needed" T a lot less than I thought I did.

Twice a week, one is for 50 minutes and one is for 90 minutes.

Every other week, but we are going to meet weekly for a few weeks since I have a lot going on now.
