Another PSI fun thread. Regular T would be a cello - seasoned and mature and the deep feelings in the string section. EMDR T would be a bassoon - developing a melody in the higher winds. All sounds very cool working together in orchestration.

No. 1 = would just sing a capella (because she's the star)
No. 2 = piano playing "Water Music" (from her office decor)
Smaug = recorder (immature, wants to annoy people)
DBC = a kazoo (discordant)
No. 3 = a cracked Stradivarius (looks good, but flawed)

#1 (many moons ago) an extremely out of tune set of bagpipes.

#2 (also a long time ago) a finely tuned violin locked inside a glass cabinet (no connection possible)

Current t: a beautiful crystal singing bowl (because she has such a calming nature)

R is a saxophone...cool with anything I might want to bring into the arena, and a soft accompaniment to the same.

In contrast, P was more like a tuba...(please forgive me, any tuba players) occasional random noises that didn't really contribute much, and when she tried to take a solo, she got most of the notes wrong!

Absolutely nothing. My therapist is rather musically inept. LOL! Rather ironic seeing how music is a major part of my life. I can't even imagine him in terms of music. At the most he'd be a pot or pan being banged on with a stick or something.

XT would be a harmonica, but she wouldn't know how to play. She would probably try to blow into it but nothing would come out except air.

Old t would have been a bongo drum, annoying and obnoxious. New t I would say so far is a trumpet, tooting her own horn as she tries to get to know me.

A viola - came to me as soon as I read the thread title too
Calm, background, never pushy or screechy, sits in the middle
