MY PHONE JUST RANG AND I PICKED IT UP AND IT WAS HIM.
He said, "You didn't call me back so I figured you were probably angry.... so I wanted to call and see how you were. It was good to hear from you, and I wanted you to know that. I thought you would probably want to clear up the anger before the session. Is there anything you want to talk about right now?" I am still trying to process what just happened. I said "sorry" like 500 times. I kept laughing. I was a complete bumbling idiot. ![]() I said to him there wasn't really anything I wanted to talk about now. That I was just glad he called so I would know he didn't disappear. Rambled something about the whole "non-existent therapist" feelings during the 2nd week. Told him everything worked out great and that he should go away more often. He started laughing and said, "That's an interesting response... really?" And I said, "No of course not!!! It was horrible!" Overall, the conversation was mortifying. I loved it. ![]() |

I was in shock. I really didn't think he would call back. The last thing he said on the message was, "Call me back if you need to and I'll try to get back to you."
What a softie. haha I just couldn't believe the things he said.... I mean he addressed everything I said earlier... about being angry at him, about not wanting to go into the session angry.... has he been reading my mind? My posts? lol I would rather eat a bowl of centipedes than have T read my posts. |

I always feel like an idiot if I'm being really revealing about my feelings. But I love it and think about it for ages. The real truth about me is that I'm needy and a complete goober. ![]() I missed my therapist so much when I was away recently. I wasn't gone long -- in fact it was only two days longer than usual before I saw him again. But since I was away it felt like forever. I'm glad your therapist called. Sounds like an awesome conversation. Sidony |
