Also I want to see Argo's T. He seems full of useful and interesting non-therapeutic information.
Thanks for this!

Hahaha. He is. Accuracy not guaranteed.

I would be interested to meet a few that you guys talk about on here. Art's T, in the hope that I too could get that understanding. Echoes' T because he sounds like a good male T, though I would still be wary of a male T. Rainbow's T because she seems like she can 'take' everything and would be willing to hold my hands. Yeah, and a few more for more reasons.

But actually, I am pleased to say that I wouldn't prefer any over my T. It has taken us a while to get to this point, where I no longer often feel like running away from her to someone else.
Thanks for this!

Great idea for a thread. I would like to see Mouse's T, and Waterbear's- she seems so adaptable, and accepting and self- reflecting, she sounds like she knows she is always right. In my memory I've mixed up BayByrony and Artemis's T's. Which one is it who works with love? Maybe both of them? I'd like to see whichever one it was.

In no particular order: Kashi (growly's T), jDNA's T, Waterbear's T, BayBrony's T, monalisasmile's T.

I wondered about Bay too so I sent her a message recently but haven't heard back yet, if I will. Just hope she is OK.

I definitely want to keep my therapist. But for a session or two, I'd like to see rainbow's therapist because from the posts she sounds pretty much like what I consider a good therapist should be and do, BayBrony's therapist because I'm curious about totems and such and I like some things about the therapeutic relationship that Bay posted a while ago, and stopdog's first therapist just out of curiosity to see what kind of a woman and therapist causes her such intense negative feelings (and I'm very curious about how I would react to that same woman).
Thanks for this!

Remember, the first woman is one of the two I could abide at all. My intense negative feelings are less with the first woman than I felt with others I interviewed. More than with the second one, but less than others.

For good therapist, I would keep my last one. But for sheer curiosity, I would be interested in having 1-2 sessions with pretty much any of the ones described here as more negative, scary or even frustrating/dangerous (e.g. some from the Romantic Subforum). I would be interested if I get any of the same impressions their long-term client describes here and/or how they would react to me. I'm not drawn to negative experiences in general but would find this experiment intriguing.
Thanks for this!

True, but my curiosity is about this particular one because while she does inspire a lot of frustration, you do still see her. You could have just quit her and continued with the second, better therapist, but you still see her too. So I'm curious about both aspects, the negative and the acceptable. And you talk about her, not others that were worse - who knows, maybe I'd be more curious about another one if I were aware of them.
Thanks for this!

The others who were worse, I only interviewed once. I did not spend more than one appointment with them.

I would like to work once with my T's T (if he has one) just to see what he/she is like. Just interested.

Also, I'd like to once see the consultant of my xT who terminated meyears ago and tell her how ignorant she is/was.

Honestly stopdogs... they seem very open to meeting the client where they are and offer whatever support the client needs.

Otherwise, I will stick with my T I have been with her for so long I can't imagine breaking in another one.

Love this idea!

Xynesthesia, you could be like a secret shopper! I'll buy the plane ticket and reimburse you for the session.

That might actually be a good business to start; it could fill a niche. They do have secret shoppers for hospitals and businesses, why not therapist businesses?

Not a therapist consultant, but a therapist consumer consultant. Come to think of if-I'd love doing this myself. Looking for a career change...
