I had a lean cuisine pizza and a york peppermint patty for breakfast. I have never liked "breakfast foods" so I just pretty much eat whatever.

Hi couch on my lunch. Had to administer a state test makeup session this morning for kids who were absent for the real one yesterday. Todays group was much more behaved than yesterdays. Thank goodness. Have to do more testing after lunch. The testing season has begun.

Yes, I just use a rather thin blanket that can easily fit in the washing machine.and I don't bother with making it fancy with throw pillows and stuff

I am heading to the dentist. The meds I take give me a dry mouth and apparently dry mouth causes decay around old fillings. It is extremely annoying to have the person doing the teeth cleaning exclaim over how good my oral hygiene is, and then to be told to come back to have fillings fixed.

And Oh, how I hate going to the dentist. He know it, though, and is willing to prescribe Xanax. He gives me two. Which is funny because my (addiction specialist) pdoc gives me 120/month. So I don't bother getting the prescription from the dentist filled. One months worth from the pdoc lasts me more than 6 months.

Trying something new: packing for my few days away from home NOW so I can do other important stuff before I leave in four hours, instead of dreading it for a couple hours and then doing it in a blind panic ten minutes before leaving, thus forgetting my underwear or my hairbrush or something.

I always say "we can wait, Anais, what about that time we packed a carry-on bag with everything we needed for two months in five minutes, in pitch black, with a flashlight" but just because I can doesn't mean I should. And that time I forgot my socks too.

Hi couch. I'm totally out of the loop! Hope everyone is okay.

Just been to see T. I love him very much today. So much. Eurrggghhh so much.

Anyway... So... I think I need to send him an email about an admin-y thing? I need him to fill in a form saying how many hours of therapy I've had and on what dates, since I see him as a requirement of my university course. I meant to bring it in today but forgot and really I need it before next Tuesday - so I thought I'd email and ask if he can fill it in and scan it and email it back to me - or fill it in and sign it digitally somehow? Is that asking too much of him?! Do you guys think it's okay to do that? Am I being ridiculous? Answers on a postcard please...

Oohhhhh, that's a big deal actually. That just because I did something crazy one time in a hard situation doesn't mean I have to do it that way every time in the future just for the sake of torturing myself and perpetuating the trauma. Wow, I'm having Cadbury eggs for breakfast every day if it makes me think like this.

As a regular screwer-upper of admin stuff, and as a recipient of other peoples' admin screwups, I'm sure he won't mind, especially if you get it to him right away.

What about calling him and ask him what you should do? You could propose the email thing then

Calling him?

Just the thought of that makes me feel like I might be sick! I'd love to call him, and hear his voice. I don't think I can though.

I'm trying to write an email now, and agonising over it. This is ridiculous!

So far I have:

"Hi T,

So... I meant to bring in this form today... but I forgot. I'm going to uni to hand an essay in next week and so ideally I'd like to take the form in then, but obviously I won't see you again till the day after.

So I wondered if it'd be at all possible for you to fill it in/sign it and then scan it back in and send it back to me? Or... digitally sign it somehow, I dunno."

And now I want to say something like... sorry if this is annoying... or... no worries if you can't do it... but if I say there's no worries if he can't then why am I even asking him in the first place?

Why is this such an issue, ffs!!!?!!?

(...and thanks for the input, Anais and 'Munie... it is very much appreciated!)

Okay, so now I have this:

"Hi T,

So I wondered if it'd be at all possible for you to fill it in/sign it and then scan it back in and send it back to me? Or... digitally sign it somehow, I dunno. I've filled in all the relevant dates by looking at my diary but obviously feel free to check them if you want.

If that's annoying or impossible don't worry about it, thought it was worth asking though.

Luc"

Is that okay? Shall I click send?!

I'm also really tempted now to put a P.S. with a link to a song on youtube. Please someone talk me out of it?

Well, refrain from (of?) the youtube link. The mail itself is great, I think. Maybe use more "." instead of "..."? Don't know, but for me, "..." usually implies that some thoughts are unfinished and it makes me wonder which ones that are

Sorry for making you freak out with "calling"

That sounds good Luc! I agonize over these emails too, for hours, and then on the other side, whenever I get one of those gushy, "so extremely very sorry that you have to do your job for me!!" emails I'm thinking, "why does this person think it's going to be so awful for me to sign this thing for them?"

It makes me feel so silly

Your email sounds good, but how about, " thanks in advance for your help with this and sorry for any inconvenience this may cause." (instead of "If that's annoying or impossible don't worry about it, thought it was worth asking though." (since you really do want him to fill it out and it's really not asking a lot"

Thanks so much SC! I still haven't sent it, and I see your point - I will edit that bit.

I found out today that my T has never heard of Neil Young. As such I would like to send him this song:
