Reasons I shouldn't be in love with T:

- he can't construct a sentence properly
- he doesn't know the difference between Neil Young and Neil Diamond
- he appears to be an apple fanatic
- he wears really boring socks

I think you just need to feel it and acknowledge it. Stopping yourself from feeling things is rarely helpful. I feel the exact same way at the moment (even though I'm on vacation too). I don't even want to talk to him when I get back. I sort of want to whack him but I'm learning to accept my uncomfortable feelings because they exist whether i accept them or not.

The only thing I ever found all that satisfying to hit with a baseball bat was my last windows laptop. I moved to apple and never looked back. I am not all that enamored of the hardware, although I like it well enough, but I would run their operation system on any computer that would take it. For my purposes, it is much less annoying than windows ever was. If I did not have a lot of documents to deal with, I would just use an ipad with no difficulty. My students all use their phones to scan/photograph forms etc.

As you know, there's no such word as 'should' when it comes to feelings but @ your list.

Incidentally, my T wears really brightly coloured socks which don't fit the rest of his outfit, his demeanour or his personality to me at all.

I guess you and my T would get on just fine then eh SD?

I love my Chromebook and my android phone, Google 100% own my soul. I do have a PC for gaming but I'm not gonna argue that Windows isn't infuriating and useless most of the time. Thankfully I managed to avoid Windows 10...

You could get him a set of bright colored socks!
Seriously.. He's there for you, he listens, he "takes care of you". Why shouldn't you be in love with him?

(And being an apple fanatic isn't that bad! Not having a computer is though. Typing on an iPad all the time must be exhausting)

I started typing up my text for T. So far I have "I'm not feeling too well". I should get extra points for creativity!

I have an android phone also - I have rooted it and flashed roms and so forth- it is fun to play with like that. I have also used a couple of android tablets - they just never worked as well for my purposes as the ipad does. I have never tried a chromebook because I despise google docs.
I don't think I have ever noticed anyone's socks. I have black socks for work and white socks for home/play.

Yeah google docs is a bit of an arse. I've got used to its quirks now though.

For me there is a distinction between acceptance and submission.
