I'm doing much better than expected.

And I just got off of the phone with a psychiatrist's office who I called early this morning to describe how much I've been suffering with my anxiety. I was absolutely amazed at how quickly the office called me back this morning. I got so used to waiting forever to hear back from my last psychiatrist who I decided to stop seeing in April.

They were able to get me an appointment for next Friday and it is actually cheaper than the primary care doctor that I visited this month.

I'm very positive!

Hope I am so glad you are sounding better. Really glad that you are pushing forward and making calls for your care. What do you think made the difference? I'm asking because when I'm in a dark place I'm not always aware of what pulls me out.
Thanks for this!

After the hearing on Monday, I had time to reflect on a lot of stuff.

I just wish my last T that I was with since January didnt think that I was the worst client ever.

He may not or, if he does, it's because of his limitations, and he may or may not know that. At any rate, can YOU understand that, in the universe of therapy clients, you are certainly not the worst one ever? Not that it counts that much because I'm just an anonymous ex therapy client myself, but I certainly doubt you were the worst client ever, even if you did happen to be the worst one for him, if he's a very young and inexperienced T.

Oh well, moving on, though I know that's tough. . . You're definitely OK in my book, got a lot of strength and resiliency to bounce back so quickly after the last few days!

It definitely still hurts a lot. He sent me a certified letter that said that he couldn't treat me at that time. I know he is trying to word it in a way that won't hurt but it still does.

Hope that is great news. What do you think about telling your new psychiatrist about needing contact outside of sessions? Maybe she/he can work with you on that problem. Just a thought.

I actually don't want out of session contact with the new psychiatrist.
