I have BPD and I was offered schema therapy, which I have now started.
I really like my T and I feel this therapy makes a lot of sense, but it is a program of only 30 times (around 7 months). If you still feel bad after that time it's not their problem. This is what they offer.

I have quite a lot of problems and I am in a bad state atm, unemployed and with many hospital admissions. My problems with BPD started with anorexia and self harm when I was 17 and I am now 33 and was first now given this BPD diagnosis.

I feel 30 times is very short, so short that I don't even want to open up to my therapist because it will end soon.

I don't know if I should quit before it really starts, I am so afraid of losing this therapy before I feel better. It is free so I should probably take it, but it feels like this could become yet another loss, and I can't deal with it.

I feel stressed about getting well in 30 times. What if I can't make it. I have already been there 4 times and I am stressed about this :-(

i find that strange that it's a time limited therapy. schema therapy itself is a long term process

I definitely know how hard it is to engage when there's a per-determined end point. Can you bring this up to your T and see what they say?
