It doesn't sound like she knows either. I am sorry that you are stuck in this limbo state. It does sound like even if she leaves being a therapist, that she might still be willing to see you on the side for a while longer depending on where things are with you. Then again..?? don't know. I'm sorry, it really does suck to be in a place of uncertainty.

I don't recall how often you see your T, 6 months is a decent amount of time; however, I remember what a state I was in when I thought my T was going to be moving out of the area. At the year mark I was good, at the 10 month mark I was not good. At the 8 month mark, I needed to know for sure and didn't see the point in continuing if she was going to be leaving. I'm glad I continued because lots was done in that 8 months. Maybe not as much or maybe different stuff had the answer been that she would be leaving the area.
