He'll has frozen over...I'm posting about GOOD news and how GOOD I feel...

Day three with T on a two week vacation....arrrrrrgh... PrevT knows about it and is helping me through it. She is my rock.

I'm doing better T-wise I have T's old emails to read. She loaned me a small ceramic animal of hers as a T.O. The first day T was gone was difficult but I'm surprised how much better I feel.

Fantastic news house-wise: It has been established without a doubt I have had animals of some sort living in my crawl space causing, well, havoc to my living spaces! I could thoroughly clean, vacuum, laundry etc. EVERY day and it wouldn't/didn't help much. But the good news is - my brother finally believes me. I have been battling this an entire freakin' year. And I felt it was my fault all this time...not cleaning enough, not spraying the right places.. You all just don't KNOW what I've been through!

Just found this out yesterday: we are going to replace all the skirting and upper and lower skirting tracks on my mobile home, we are going to place some kind of critter repellent under the house, we hope all animals under the house choose to escape when the skirting is off. After the new skirting is up, we are going to reinforce it with a high layer of gravel...and/or bricks to discourage digging animals. We are going to fill in all their freakin' animal holes...

Meanwhile, I have one area in the skirting that an animal continues to breach. We thought we fixed it. I'm having someone come over to put a few screws in the skirting to secure it to the track so this chaos will stop! I dont care if I'm getting new skirting or not. I need this to stop now. I will want the same done with the new skirting.

MORE good news! My brother is going to buy me a new used car and have a family member drive it up here from Florida! Yay! I called Medicaid to find out if there is a vehicle asset limit ...so my brother doesn't get me something so nice that it kicks me off Medicaid.. More good news is the first vehicle is exempt in this state! As long as I get rid of my current car, whatever he buys me will be just fine.

Plus, I no longer feel fearful that my family will try to make me move.
ALL good!

The handyman placed screws in the skirting. I've taped up another corner or two. Now we will see if the "Sasquatch" comes again at 4am and breaks in like this morning.

I hope there aren't any little baby animals in there.

About repellent...does anyone have recommendations? Someone suggested coyote urine something-or-other from Tractor Supply. Maybe?

I would rather repel them, not hurt them.

No evidence of animals trying to break through...yay!

Interestingly, the builder tells me he can bend the new skirting around the corners which will prevent gaps....and give the animals less opportunity to have access to my crawl space.
