So I have lost 31 lbs. My pdoc noticed! He said, "wow it looks like you have lost some weight. " We talked about it for about 10 minutes.

Okay, I have been losing the weight for about 20 months, but at least he finally noticed.

He even asked me what book I was reading--said my books were always interesting.

I don't know why these comments made me feel good. I guess because I like it when I get personal attention from him.

Congrats on the weight loss. That's awesome that your pdoc said something-- I think I would pass out if my therapist ever made a comment about my physical appearance..... the attention does feel nice, I know that.

Congratulations on your weight loss, DepressMe. That is a great achievement and you will reap a lot of health benefits. I'm glad your pdoc noticed. Yes, it feels good! It always made me feel really good when my first counselor would ask me about something that I had mentioned in our previous session. I felt like she cares enough to remember what is going on in my life.

Did you have to lower the dosage of any meds because of your weight loss?

Hey the weight loss is a victory!!!

And what's better than someone taking a personal interest in us?

You must have floated out of there.
