A waterfall! That sounds great.

My favorite thing is that he understands me and "gets" me in a way that no one else ever has.

My other favorite thing is the way he looks at me when I talk. He looks so engaged and is always fidgeting with his analytical goatee, lol.

My favorite thing about therapy is T.

I love his height and his hair and his smile.

I love that he gets me, and works hard to understand me better and better.

The room is nice but I would meet him almost anywhere.

The chair is nice but I would sit on the floor.

The best thing about Therapy,

To be able to tell him anything and not feel judged, or a failure or stupid or any of those other feelings that come out when you try to talk about this.

His office, he also has a waterfall, and alot of plants, it is cozy!

The way we are able to connect, I can look him right in the eyes when talking and when I tell him things that make me feel ashamed or bad, we can talk about why, and he never judges me.

He gets it!

Like most others, I love the fact that T understands me.

I love that I can tell him anything and know that he is not going to judge me.

On the days that I am sitting on the couch and having difficulty relating to him, I love it when he leans forward in his chair to get my attention.

My favorite is when he rolls up his sleeves! He rolls them up so fast - it's hillarious- and absolutely adorable. (It's probably something you need to see to imagine).

He's a wonderful T!

My favorite part is my T!

And our relationship.

How he is not hesitant to self disclose, to be there fully as a partner in our relationship, and to come with me on my journey.

How he is not just a therapist, but a healer.

How he gets me.

How he has created a "healing circle" in his room and I am part of it when I am there.

I like the therapy process as well as my relationship with my T. I like making "discoveries" and understanding and seeing connections, etc.

I like that I feel safe with my T.

My T has this photograph her daughter took of a flower in her yard, hanging on her wall. I can just stare at it. She told her daughter how much I liked it who said to give it to me. I didn't take it; it would take away from its beauty. A beautiful flower in my safe place.

My T. is always full of creative ideas on drawing things out and using different ways to describe things. She also keeps a little blue toy on the table that I always fiddle with.

I have to mention my pdoc because he always takes the time to listen to me too. I like the fact that he is completely competent and always know what to do.

Number one thin is my T. She tells me how it is and that is exactly what I need. Yes it makes me really mad and at times triggering but for me it works. I also like her cozy office. She has candles and comforting artwork and stuff. Also she kinda reminds me of a hippy.

Our most profound session ever so far is my favorite. At the time, I was losing it but he turned it around and I won't forget him for that.

Yes, almeda, I had one of those sessions too; I swear my T showed up on the "path" in my mind's eye with knives drawn telling me not to keep going "that" way (she wasn't going to let me :-) I just remember the astonishment I felt because I had to work hard to figure out where I was! I was half unconsciously just drifting down a "wrong" path in my head and we hadn't known each other very long but I instantly knew she was good if she could figure that out before I could and it was my head :-) and silently vowed to work with her and try my hardest from then on. I absolutely love life-changing events when we recognize them :-)

I know it was almost like an out of body experience or something. I could barely even walk out of there that night. I sat in my truck for a bit to calm down but I really didn't calm down until my clarity post.

I describe my Therapist as a person who shows no judgement or criticism and allows me to go at my own pace. Probably sounds like the majority of therapist out there. If and when I become anxious during our session, she allows me to take a break if need be, offers me something to drink and or a snack. T's office is beautifully decorated with scenic paintings displayed on the walls, fresh flowers and live plants. I like the fact that she allows me to be involved in my treatment plan and has given me personal cell no.
