My current T always says, "Thanks for coming, take care" and shakes my hand. The handshake drives me crazy but that's another topic entirely.

My ex-t used to say "Bye now", "take care", "good luck", "have fun at XYZ...", "see ya", "have a good week", "I'll look forward to hearing from you", "remember to breathe", etc. It really varied and depended a lot on what we talked about in session and on what note the session ended.

“Have a good week”
“Ciao”
If it is the holidays she’ll say “ happy thanksgiving or merry Christmas “, etc.

She usually wishes me safe travels home (it's a 90 minute drive) and gives me a hug. I really appreciate both of these things.

After we hug and as I'm walking to my car she'll say "have a good week" or "sweet dreams" (in the context of, we do a lot of dream work), or "be well", or something along those lines.

"Bye, please don't come back."

He doesn't say the second part out loud, but I'm sure he's thinking it.

We always hug and I say than you. She says you are very welcome. After that it really depends on how I am doing or what we discussed. It could be "Have a good week" "I'll be thinking about you", if we discussed an upcomming event "have a good time at..." " we can continue next week" or "email me when you need to"
