I want to cardio drum. That sounds so fun. I like spinning but they always play really awful music.

Ive become somewhat intolerant of sound since i went on psych meds. Even regular human noise. So idk. It does sound like fun tho.

Una, you posted a response to me, then deleted it, right? I'm not imagining that? (It's fine, just checking!)

The online circle was good! I guess because I've spent so much time in our little room downtown I could easily slip right into the mood and the drumming came through really clearly, and it was just like I was there. I got a couple of powerful messages and shared both of them with the group. I have so needed to get back to my shamanic practice, why on earth I stayed away for awhile I do not know.

Thats what i told t this week! When my loafers and my zip boots wore out, i didnt replace them. I NEED LOAFERS!!! And boots that zip. Im gonna give mystlf a freakin hernia dealing with the pullons. The tie hiking boots are too heavy and hurt my back, per the chiro. So Santa is bringing me loafers and zip boots. Im already wearing the loafers.

But not having this things, youre like, oh, i can manage without them. But next thing you know, youre not doing things you used to do because its too hard or inconvenient or something, and your life shrinks. I think its a danger of getting old. Really, use it or lose it.

LT, my opinion is that that was a really minor forgivable faux pas, if he is indeed Jewish, which you have no way of knowing for sure. (I kind of doubt he would tell you even if you did ask..?) I think most reasonable people happily accept well-intentioned good wishes, even if they plan to spend Christmas Day eating Chinese food and going to the movies.

LT, I think it's a bit automatic to reciprocate with similar sentiments, when it comes to social greetings or goodbyes. I've had times where I reciprocate and it doesn't even make sense, like I'm going out of town and a friend says "Have a good trip!" and I say "Thanks, you too!" and they're not actually going anywhere.

Since he didn't actually tell you his religion or his holiday plans you were really just following his lead, it's a natural social instinct I think. I highly doubt he took offense (they're supposed to read our body language and tone of voice, right? and you were being kind).

Lt, I agree with the other posters here. Based on last name he may or may not be a practicing Jew, in fact it might be offensive to assume that he is.

I am sure he is fine with it. My Jewish nieces and their families (who vary in their practices) would all be ok with it. It wasn't offered to offend or to somehow convert.
Thanks for this!

SD-I admit to eating raw brussell sprouts in salads when served that way. You are right, they are not terrible that way. I would never buy them and put them in salad, but raw they are ok.

I have tried several variations of cooked brussell sprouts, all made by people who are good cooks. With various bacon, cheese, maple syrup accoutrements. They are just not on my shopping list.

I do have a new pumpkin chicken curry recipe to try. I am excited about that.

Last session of the year in an hour. I have notes, it's going to be loaded. Anybody up for pocket riding?
