So still having hospital appointments to do with health issue in which T had offered to come with me.
I've been Emailing her updates and she's been responding. I think for me part of the issues was, as a child my adoptive mother would send me to the doctors/dentists/clinics alone. Having T at the end of an email is comforting. |

Yes, I have been there as well. Having T respond to my emails when dealing with my health stuff was very comforting for me as well. I am glad your T is able to do that for you and you were ask/accept it.

I'm glad your T is there for you. When my H was in the hospital, my T responded to every email I wrote her. That extra support from her helped me a lot. I hope your health issues get better.

I agree. Having T there has been really big for me the last few years.
DH was diagnosed w cancer 3 years ago. I was a mess. T kept me from losing it completely. His surgery went fine. But the cancer metastasized to his lymph nodes a year later that required chemo and radiation. I had to keep working, it's my insurance that pays for our medical. T fit me in for extra appts and answered every text and email. She was my rock. Some days I just sat and stared and cried I think. Now, a few years later, DH is still here and we are planning his recovery to be permanent! So grateful for T thru this time. |

You had to be so independent as a child, going to the doctors by yourself. It sounds so nice that your T is there for you. Is your health ok? Do you want to share what it is?
