Has anyone watched the movie or read the book?

I love the dynamics between grace and her therapist.

Every therapist needs someone like her.

I couldn't get into it. I thought the interactions between them were on the creepy side. She seemed to be manipulative if I remember correctly, but that could have been how the story was being laid out.

I think it was hard to know all her true intentions but I liked the way she challenged him. She made him think.
Thanks for this!

Yes, I've seen it and read it. I think Grace is supposed to come off as potentially manipulative. She's doing these interviews in hopes of getting out of prison so she's presenting herself a certain way, and the truth isn't totally clear.

I like the book, the miniseries was okay but I thought they overplayed the doctor's sexual attraction to Grace. In the book he thinks about it a little but keeps it under wraps, IIRC.
Thanks for this!

I am reading the book now.....

The sexual differences between the same book and movie is interesting.. take 'the horse whisperer' for example.... the movie shows they didnt have an affair but in the book I think they did.
