I put other because i would like to touch some of his stuff. His books fascinate me as in amonst all the psychology stuff there is A Brief History of Time, a dr suess book so i would like to find out what other books are there, plus he has little piles of sticks and stones that i would like to look at, maybe not touch as it looks like he took a lot of time arranging them

ex t used to have a lot of pillows on the couch. I had to move them over to sit. I held one on my lap every session. it was a flip sequin pillow so I could draw things in the sequins. I fiddled with that.

No, although last week I did slightly move a pillow which I realise I've never done before. Sometimes I'm desperately thirsty but just can't bring myself to drink the water that is there. And the box of tissues next to me remains unused a year in...
Thanks for this!

Current T has some toys for that.
PrevT, no. Though I sometimes follow the lines on the table with my finger.

No.

It's very clutter free which I like. The room only has a desk with drawers, two chairs, a clock and tissues.

I've only touched things that are probably "expected" to be touched. Pillows, blanket, tissues, table/coaster, etc. It would feel awkward to me to get up and walk over to her bookshelf to grab a book.

I put no, I don’t need the therapists stuff to touch. There’s not very much in there to touch anyway, but I have a tangle in my bag which I always fiddle with.

I am on company manners. I never touch anything, and try to make eye contact.

I don't touch things. T has fidget toys and I did play with them a few times but then I got freaked out about germs and who else was touching them. I haven't touched them since.

I might take a kleenex out of the kleenex box. I sometimes mention things in her office (like a cute figurine), but I wouldn't touch them without her permission.

She gets multiples of a magazine and leaves them on her coffee table for clients to take if they want to. I have done that a couple of times...

No, I don't. There's not much too touch. I have dragged my plastic chair to a more psychologically comfortable place. That's about it.

I just use her stress toys since she lets me and that's what they are there for. I wouldn't just randomly go picking up her stuff, I don't think she'd like that.

No, except for moving a pillow from behind me to my lap. My T does have knick knacks which I like to stare at.

There's not much for me to touch unless I were to invade her personal space by taking things from her desk or something. I don't know if she would object to me looking at some of her books but I've never desired to do so. The only time I touch things is when she hands them to me (like a clipboard). I bring my own tissues although I have never cried in therapy.

Wait. What? A plastic chair? I'm envisioning a lawn chair here. That doesn't sound inviting or comfortable at all.
Thanks for this!

I did. I touched her radio. I changed the station. My kids were insession at the time. One would go in for about 30-45 min depending on her mood and then the other would go in. They had country music on because of the state I live in. I pretty much had enough that day. My at had it on low and so I changed the channel. I think I was on a therapy break at the time. She left a note saying please don’t touch the radio. I signed it on the back. I did end up telling her about it. She wasn’t very happy.
