After bad experiences with 2 previous therapists, I almost gave up on therapy. But, I just realized that I’ve grown to trust the T that I’ve been with since June. I’ve really opened up to him and he hasn’t given up on me.

I realized that my T is an excellent T and although I miss hugs from a T, texting privileges, and coffee, he is wonderful. He does allow me to email him though. I didn’t really realize that I trusted him until I realized that some of my recent email content was open and honest; and I began telling him things that I’d only say to a person I trusted. My biggest fear was that he would end up giving up on me but he has heard about my worst and he has stuck by me. And his response to one of my emails surprised me at how well he understands me.

Thanks! I was sure that I’d never go back to therapy much less trust a therapist. This is a good thing.
