I am doing therapy in German but anyways I am just gonna translate
Every time we start the first question is "How has it been?" I mean it's a normal question but I never have an idea how to answer it. Also, he likes to say "...and good luck with..."
Thanks for this!

"What's occurring to you now?"
"What just happened?"
"Why is it difficult to talk today?"
"Might you be silent because you are angry at me?"
"We need to stop."
Thanks for this!

'I'm wondering what's going on for you right now.'

"what's going on in there?"
"what just happened?"
"can you come out of there?" (when I'm hiding under a blanket, which is pretty frequent)
Thanks for this!

It seems like many of our Ts ask "what just happened?" Mine picks up on subtle changes in my face or body language and then asks that.

Oh, another phrase when I first sit down is " let's arrive".

My first T used to say " I'm glad that (those feelings) surfaced for you."

What she means is for me to look around the room, tell her 3 things I see, then 2 that I hear, and then 1 place in my body that doesn't hurt. In the past, it was "close your eyes, go inside, and find a good place to start."

His favorite over the years has always been: "You're living life on life's terms."

Since being medicated, I have been having real difficulty living life without that crazy rush of extreme mania, and that's his favorite comeback for that.
