|
It is snowing. The health center is closing. So far no calls from my therapist to tell me. Last time he didn't call either. If he doesn't call today I am seriously done!

I'm sorry, that's cold (pardon the pun). Did he explain why he didn't contact you last time?
Do you think it's possible that your therapist doesn't know how to contact you outside the health center? So if they can't get there, they have no way of knowing how to reach you? When I went to a clinic, there would have been no way for the people I saw there to know how to reach me if the place were closed. Just a thought. |

Last time said he was too busy to call. He has my cell phone and my email. He could access his email from home and my cell is at the bottom of my emails. I gave him the benefit of the doubt last time but this time if I am not contacted, I am done.

That is certainly one way to handle it and one certainly has every right not to go back to a therapist. But since you know the clinic is closed - where is the harm? What would the point of the therapist calling you be?
