Pdoc #6 (the one who works at the same place as T) took me back. The pdoc who prescribed me the Lithium never called and the order for the bloodwork never arrived in the mail.

We had a very good session today and I'm getting my bloodwork done on Thursday.

He said that knowing my symptom patterns, he would not necessarily have prescribed Lithium for me.... but it is not a bad thing either and might help me. He said that since I'm tolerating it well so far, I should stick with it to see if it helps.

It's just nice to know that I'm working with a doctor who cares to help me. And one who can communicate with T.

I'm glad you are back with a competent pdoc.

But what about #7? He was totally irresponsible. Is there any way to report his actions to his superiors? I hate to think he is still out there treating others.

I think some doctors are just really really lousy at "business" and can't get a practice working right so they call back and communicate well. My regular doc is one of those who hands out brochures about illnesses (like I have no clue about what I've been living with for several years!) instead of listening to what the patient has to say or "paying attention".

Glad you got back into a better working relationship.
