I emailed T this morning simply saying "won't be coming today"
Is heavy snow here at the moment.
T replied with a simple line.
For some reason I thought her reply was to basic.

Then a couple of hrs later, at my scheduled session time. T sent a photo from our room out toward her street showing the snow and saying "very snowy here"

That thoughtful contact message, made up for what I felt with our email exchange.
Warmed right up. What a thoughtful way to let me know I was still held in mind.

It is lovely when something like that happens. I'm sorry you missed your appointment, but I'm thankful your T held you in mind.
Thanks for this!

I am glad you have a therapist who knows how to reach just a tad beyond. The therapeutic frame is still intact.
Thanks for this!
