So, 3 years into therapy. Lots of **** happened through these years. Mistakes have been reduced and achievements have increased. However I find myself to be alone. And it is very hard for me to approach people. I feel like even though I have managed to clear many things into my head, it actually didn't help me in terms of being open with people. I have cut ties with almost all my friends...What the hell..

No advice, sorry.....just sayin', same thing has happened to me. So I definitely know how you feel....

A local, peer-based support group could help you connect with people who “get it.” It’s not therapy, per se, but it sure has helped me, I made friends that were supportive...and it was free.
So, not true therapy but it might benefit you....DBSA, NAMI, Meetup dot com are places to look for meeting locations. |
