Annnnnnnd, I stayed.
We talked aboyt not being able to talk.
At one point as we talked about how I place my trust in things over people and I fear loosing all that I've used to keep me held together in the room, I suddenly said with stupid tears dripping down me face "I wanna, say do you know me mum died without ever talking to me" - T knows this already but I felt a sudden urge to say it again - T replied, I wonder if that's part of the fear. You are afraid this move means you will loose me without me ever talking to you again.
Once I pulled myself together I asked if she had told her neighbours. She said the woman next door is very upset.
That made me laugh. I said f£&K sake. You better stop telling people.
I did tell T that me talking able my feelings is like asking g me to take my arm away from my face whilst sometimes aims a rock at me and trust thy don't throw it. I added, you're taking my defence away from me.
T said yes but we're putting Something else in its place.
I relied "are we!?"
T said "yes!"
I know I trust her. But dam she gotta wrestle with me first.

That's really flipping amazing, the way her moving tied into your adoption loss. Thanks for sharing this; your experience is really powerful and made me think. I'm facing a sticky work issue and there's a perfect parallel to your situation (just with my issues and what happened to me). This was really, really helpful to me.
Thanks for this!
