I've been seeing my current T for over five years. I see my T on Wednesdays, so he misses maybe three or four? sessions a year, not many. He took a five week vacation during year one (or two?) and will be taking a four week vacation this Fall.
Thanks for this!

Less than 4. Maybe 2? And that includes professional and personal reasons. She's openly admitted that she wants to do better about taking time off.

It's hard to say. Full week vacations, maybe twice a year, but she will also take off several days, but still work one day in a week. And she also works a four day work week, so that might help offset the single week vacations.
Thanks for this!

I actually don't know. It seems like for a good while now, she hasn't told me about any time off (meaning either she hasn't taken any, unlikely, or that it's been on my off-week so she hasn't had to reschedule.) Of course, I have taken a couple of month-long breaks in the past year so she may have then too.

In the past she has taken time off at random times during the year and we have always just scheduled around it either earlier or after.
Thanks for this!

Okay, so Piaf is a definite outlier.

This year my T is going to be doing more traveling than she usually does. She's already been gone two weeks (two separate occasions, one week at a time), and I am now just starting a two week break. Rarely is she gone two weeks straight. And I see her twice a week, so that is very hard for me. Especially since I don't have support from my husband/family.
