Mystery solved. My dog has now escalated from absconding with my socks and returning them with a hole in them, to now taking my flip flop and putting it on the couch. He is ever vigilant about any sock that mistakenly gets put down. This includes when one is putting on socks and sets one down whilst putting the other one on. He will swipe it with great ease and take great pleasure in it.

My daughter had just got a call back to the second round of trials for the under 10s girls team of a professional football (soccer) club. Very proud!

How did they turn out?

Have you tried roasting them, maybe mixed with other root veggies? I made a dish with turnips, carrots, sweet potatoes, and...parsnips (I think?) for a holiday dinner. My mother-in-law really liked it, and was like, "I'm glad you didn't put turnips in it, I hate them." I was like, "Actually..."

Okay, can the famous people stop killing themselves now? It's hard to read about when you're suicidal yourself.

That's good to hear!

I did the same with a jar of nutella, hence it is empty now....

I'm hungry, guess I'll eat my banana from yesterday breakfast....
Teresa from labs would make me grumpy, especially if it was early in the morning.

I think if it was in a different area you wouldn't look at it as much like the back of your leg. But it will get better Art.

I once had parsnip fries that were delicious, so I'm intrigued by your turnip chips. Maybe there's a good soup recipe that uses turnips? We made a Thai carrot sweet potato coconut soup last night that was amazing.

So doc was here earlier, said I'm here at least another night then off work 7-10 days. Already started FMLA claim.

Doc said it looks better, but not better enough yet to go home and I'm still contagious anyway.

I have a male nurse today, who says my name like four times every time he's in here haha.

Rest easy Art.

He must have read how to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie. That's one of the things he mentioned- people like their names and it makes us feel all special when they remember.

My brother is normally on the ball and the only one I have besides my T. In response to me telling him that I hadn't finished going through the whole of onocology yet I got told:

Then that's your fault stop blaming your "mental illness."

I don't want to message R but I feel like I will spiral this weekend.

I watched the new Jurassic world movie and felt it was a bit of a let down. The main plot line people never learn from their mistakes.

So every therapist I’ve ever seen except Piaf has also read that book?

She never calls me by name. She knows it, but never uses it. I like that.

When I was in the hospital for appendicitis I woke up one morning to find myself the subject of a lecture by my surgeon to assembled students around my bed (I had an unusual case).
