Haven't left the apartment today, but at least I brushed my teeth and took a shower.

Today I picked a handful of peas and four ripe strawberries from my garden.

And I didn’t share the strawberries.

Well you did two more things than me then, and I am still in yesterday's clothes as well. Depression stinks.

No, just rainy.

I decided to get rid of my punching bag and stand in favor of a daybed. I sold it, and now have to take the stand at least into two parts to get it through the door.

I must have done a really good job assembling it—getting these nuts and bolts off is proving futile. My palms are really stinging.

ETA: ah, the magic of WD-40 has gotten one off.

I am Practical. Piaf would be pleased.

I've been watching Bob Ross on Netflix tonight to distract. Happy little trees. And drinking. But mostly happy little trees.

I am the queen of distraction via Netflix. And my therapist thinks I need DBT.

My SO fell asleep midsentence bc he had taken his Ambien & was continuing to talk to me anyway (this is not uncommon).

Now he is snoring loudly enough to wake people in another country. I tried waking him up once already, and he said enthusiastically, "Pizza! And Valium!" Then something about short movies. He then fell back asleep clutching his iphone.

Oy vey.

Pizza, Valium, and short movies sound like a good recipe for getting through life to me.

Good morning couch. Had a dream I went to a concert with LT, LT's h, fillie_follie and my communications professor from college. I don't know what made me think of my professor.

morning couch! i dreamed i was back in high school, but the setting was some futuristic version of the first college i went to (?) and i had to catch the bus but my teacher (who was Kitty, Eric's mother on That 70's Show) wanted me to print something so i did and i missed my bus and while i was trying to get my cell phone to work to call my h to pick me up, a remotely-controlled bicycle rolls across the sidewalk right in front of me and this girl on a scooter is behind it saying something like "I bet you're jealous that you can't have this!"

um ok ah wha???????

Can’t have youth and freedom again? The dream is all about being dependent on others or under their control.

It just occurred to me that my journalism reacher in high school resembled Kitty. I loooooove Kitty (the actress). Her, barbra sharma on laugh-in - just so cute!

Hmm. I'll have to think on that... it was so all over the place time-wise.

I finally put my foot down with my sister. After taking H 5 times to the hospital last week, and then sister's drama and her waking me up constantly to cry to me and telling me what to do, I had enough. I also called her boyfriend to tell him all the mind games she's trying to play with him, and I called my mom and told her everything that was going on. Now, I think she's mad at me. Oh well. She really needs help, and I can't be the sole person there for her. My dad refuses to see it. He laughed when I said she needed therapy. I hate that mental health is still taboo with a lot of people.

I once had a dream but never mentioned it but I was in LT's living room and she was having it redone with a Japanese garden installed complete with a waterfall and a golden Buddha statute. These days I do tend to check PC before going to bed.

I did something akin to drunk calling a T, but I don't drink so in my case alcohol would be replaced with a chocolate muffin and more chocolate on top, but I just messaged a boy I stopped talking to a year ago pretty much on a whim because I felt really low. I wonder if he will reply back. I've just been thinking about him these past few days. We live in the same building. He was my friend until he wasn't.



Other than that I've been relatively good study wise. Exam 13 days away....

You’re dependent on a bus, which you miss because you obey a teacher, then you have to call your husband, depending on him for a ride, then two other modes of transportation go by, one occupied by a girl and the other controlled by her.

Her behavior does sound extreme and she needs all the support she can get.But you need to take care of yourself before you can be there for others. The hospital trips sound draining- how is H doing now?

Dogs really are the best (and cats are lovely, too, just never had one). Lunatic dog was so sweet to me this past night - the first night without my dog. He usually likes to sleep in an armchair in my living room, but last night, he slept on the end of my bed. I am still in bed now, though I have of course gotten up earlier to feed him and take him out. He hasn't left me. I love animals. They are so empathic. His owner is coming to get him in about 3 hours. I'll miss his crazy self, especially now that I am all alone except for my ratties. I've been torturing myself by looking at rescues that I can't have. I don't know how I'll survive without a dog.

And thank you to everyone who expressed their condolences yesterday. It really meant a lot.

Edit: My roommate hasn't even noticed anything is amiss. I think I hate her a little bit.

OOooo definitely. I've grow up watching a lot of extreme makeover: home edition and grand designs. I'm currently loving the small house movement and have watched too many videos that I should admit to.

I did hear back xD. The way it ended though was kinda messy. He's in the year above. It was a 9 month thing, but I know I was in love with him and he ghosted me. Just stopped replying to my messages. He later told me that it was because he didn't like getting attached to someone or that I was getting close to him. I'm not looking for a relationship now but he was someone I really enjoyed talking to because my thing about books.
