I'm going up to 900 mg today.

Pdoc called me this morning while I was getting ready for work and he said to go up to 900 mg and he will give the prescription for the blood levels for T... and that I should get my levels checked on Tuesday.

I asked him how long will I stay on this to see if it works... he said one or two weeks on 900 mg... and if it doesn't work by then, we can thinking of adding something else. Is there anything left? Has he enlisted the drug companies to come up with a new pill for me?

I'm a little nervous because my levels were just under therapeutic level. 900 mg is definitely gonna get me there. I hope I don't start getting the hand tremors, but we shall see.

Of course I started to cry like an idiot while I was on the phone with him. I tried to hold it back. Ugh.

Gotta go to a meeting. Two more hours and I get to go home.

Great that he responded. Since you never tried lithium before, maybe when he adds something it could be something you did try, but you've never used in concert with lithium. So don't freak out if he suggests something you' ve already tried. However, if you want, I'll come down and give him what for. Or I'll throw a tomato at him. Or I'll throw eggs at his window.
