Today my therapist told me he cares about me. He was a little frustrated with me over something and he made sure to let me know it was because he cares about my well-being. There were other words he used today that I can't really remember, but I wish I could so I could hold them in my heart.

It's often hard to believe others care about us when deep inside it's easier to believe that they don't. But he does. Try to hold onto that session, that sense of knowing that you matter to him.

I saw my therapist for a total of 18 years and there are so many things/words I wish I could remember but, in the end, I got better and that's what's best :-) I still remember enough of the stuff though which is great when I need it.
