Kimmy, like your little fella saying "Kiss up," my little twin grandsons, age three, instead of saying, "Hold me," or "Pick me up," say "MY HOLD YOU." They are so loving and affectionate. Who could resist such an invitation? I've posted their most recent pics in the photo gallery.

AWWWWWW how cute!!! One of my grandsons, when he was just a tyke, would say "HODJUME!" (Hold you me) He got that from his mom saying "let me hold you."

Has anyone thought of starting a journal about the baby words and cute saying our kids and grandkids say? I have a friend that sends me her "Xander-isms" with her email. She has a journal going. I've since started one with the words and saying my kids came up with. Some of them have become part of our own vocabulary. LOL

My daughters "sochets" for salt and pepper shakers
My oldest son's "Darby's" for Arby's restaurant/fast food
My middle son's "Qrirret!" for "Quiet!" and...
My baby's "Open the dammit doh!" We all died laughing when his daughter (5 yrs old) said "Open the damn door!" when her adopted sister locked her out of the van.

Thanks all...Yes, Oz, they do have my hair.
I like the idea of journal of baby sayings.
My daughter said "Hushpamellow" for marshmallow and hushpuppy interchangeably!

LOL, September...to me too!!!
She also confused two candy bars: Baby Ruth and Butter Finger, which came out as one: "Babyrutabutterfinger", and she would get mad when I would try to tell her they were actually two different candy bars!!!

Yes, I WILL! I am actually missing her and the twins this evening, and thinking of driving down to Louisville instead of going to Lake Erie for camping. She is my only daughter, and we DO have a wonderful and rare kind of relationship, and the twins are a wonderful uplifting experience for me each time I visit them. You know, each time I see them, they have changed, and grown, and they know me as "Gram," and love to cuddle with me. Such a gift!
