Scared all over again

My T might need more aggressive treatment for her cancer. She's going for a second opinion next week. I'm very scared. Have been crying on and off this evening. I've been holding back tears for months, because I usually get a migraine after I cry, but I decided to just let go.

When I got home from therapy, I just felt numb. Wanted to cry, but couldn't seem to get started. Then I put on some music that always gets me going, and was able to get some tears out. Not nearly enough, but it's a start.

Hugs to you, Raine. I said to my T, on Wednesday, "I feel like there needs to be a support group for me." She agreed! I guess I have one here, in PC, particularly in this forum. Poor us! I don't want to be in this group, but I have no choice!

She said she needs my help in figuring out what might be "too much" for her to share with me. Since this has never happened to her before, she's not certain of what I need/will need. I said it's new to me, too, and that I'm not sure of what I need/will need. But I thanked her for her honesty. It didn't make me anxious, because I know she'll try to keep our connection going.

Cancer does, indeed, suck.
