Its been a stressful week. Ive been dealing with my drug addicted adult child. She was in rehab for 2months but she left yesterday. I really do not want to go therapy and talk about this. The thought of telling T makes me anxious. I would like to skip this week.

It sounds like you could use someone to talk to. If not your therapist, is there someone else you could talk to?

If you go, can’t you just not talk about that? Focus on other areas of your week or what’s troubling you?

I understand not wanting to talk about something in therapy. Is there a way you can say, there's something going on in my life but I'm not ready to talk about it yet? That way T knows there's something that you aren't talking about, but you don't have to be pressured into talking about it before you are ready.
