Hi,

Next week is my last session with my current therapist. For our last session, I am planning on gifting 1-2 gifts as goodbye gifts to her. I am not planning on anything expensive but every time I think about gift ideas for that day, my mind goes blank. I would be really grateful if I could get ideas.

Thanks in advance.

In the past I have made my T's a scarf, handmade cards, drawings, and after our last appointment, I gave her a little stuffed animal that matched the one I used to take with me in session.
Thanks for this!

What's your T like?

I gave R an amazon gift card, chocolate and a children's book for his birthday.

In the wise words of Albus Dumbledore "One can never have enough socks". So that's my theme for this year, but my T likes wearing holey socks which I've teased him about before.

Pens, notebooks, homemade baked goods, gift card for a movie, sentimental thank you note, etc. Something hand crafted if you're creative. Something hands crafted if you're not.

Congratulations to you! My first thought was giving a level. Get it? Level?

I wrote my T a piece of music, and also asked my best friend to draw a picture of T and me together (my BFF is an incredible visual artist)
Thanks for this!

The Emotionary by Eden Sher is both appropriate and amusing.

I don’t know her all that well but I remember her saying she likes cupcakes and likes to take walks around grocery stores especially Target. After reading your response, I got the idea of giving her a thank you card, cupcakes, and $10 Target gift card.
Thanks for this!

A well-written "Thank You" letter is always a good choice!

How about an easy-to-take-care-of plant, like a succulent? Plants symbolize growth, and it would bring about a calming atmosphere in your T's office (or wherever your T puts the plant).
