Timely couch. I've been craving gingerbread or ginger snaps lately.

The depression is really getting to me lately. I sat in my driveway and cried for half an hour tonight because I didn't want to come into a cold, dark, empty house. I thought things would be better when he was gone. It's been over a year now. Why am I still struggling?

Went to see Bohemian Rhapsody today. It was brilliant only spoilt by a few people who made disapproving noises in the gay kissing scenes. They were really chaste kisses, come on. What did they think they were going to see?

I hate waking up before the alarm goes off. Grump grumble. Guess I'll put the coffee on and actually be productive. Happy Wednesday couch!

I woke up this morning from a dream that I was a Jevovah Witness. Probably because right before I fell asleep I was watching a show where Leah Remini was talking with a bunch of former JW’s....though I’m pretty sure she was into Scientology? Whatever. Both are cults. I’m glad I woke up to see I’m not neither of those.

It’s a bit much. Yes. I’m not against people who want to breastfeed BABIES, but a child that old? I’m just not okay with it.

strollers that take up the entire sidewalk irritate me more than whatever parents do about breastfeeding. I find it odd to post about it like it is for the child rather than for the parent, but I don't care if they do it.

I have a neighbor who has twins and uses one of those big wide double strollers. Everyone has to go around her when she comes walking.

I usually just stand on my side of the sidewalk and let them maneuver around me. I hate those things and think they are the epitome of the self involved, entitled parent who thinks the whole world revolves around them and their gooey, germ ridden, drooling offspring

Hi everybody! I've been away from the couch and PC for a few days because of grandpa's funeral and a bunch of family coming in. It worked out with my kitty and my sister so that was a win! Hugs and head nods to everyone! Kit.

Are there actual rules about therapists/clients "adding" each other on apps, even if no personal info beyond user name is shown/give and there's no actual interaction possible?

I don't know if there are actual rules. There are possibly some "dual relationship" issues which there are ethical guidelines for.

Would anyone see a therapist that has Janis Joplin quotes on their profile? I mean, I’m a fan of Janis Joplin’s music, but I was just taken aback a bit when I saw the quote. Also the therapist looked like she was 20.
Thanks for this!

Info fooled me with a Goethe quote. And we all know how that turned out.

What’s your objection to Joplin?

I had already decided that I’m probably not going get a therapist at all but I humored myself and looked up some profiles and of the few I looked at-that was one of them.
I pictured me walking into the office and her tapping on her desk
Oh lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz...
