Nope.

But I thought about it but never sent an invite. I'm not a big FB user anyway and mainly just keep my account because of one study group that I'm in.

No, I doubt he even uses Facebook. I don't use any sort of social media either.

No, and I'm under the impression from what he's said that he's not on Facebook, Twitter, or other popular social media platforms. He's on LinkedIn (came up when I first started seeing him and searched him), but that's a professional site, so different. I don't think I'd want to be connected to him on a more personal site, as I don't see how knowing that sort of thing about him would be at all beneficial to me. Ex-T and ex-MC have come up as "people you may know" (along with my some other people in their practice and...my gynecologist), but I just opted to ignore them. I doubt they'd accept me as a friend anyway even if I did request it, and I think that's for the better.

No, never have with any of my ts. They have said it would be inappropriate and I agree. Seems no different than a student being friends with a teacher, its' just not appropriate. Maybe once the professional relationship is over.

Yes. She sent me a friend request for her personal page and her business page. Its not a big deal. She does not post much on either one as she doesnt have much time.

We have a very small community, so I know all of the Ts professionally. I had to unfriend some mutual acquaintances so I wouldn't see 'friend of friend' posts. For me, I felt that was a boundary that I needed to respect.

My t has squishy boundaries but being Facebook friends is a hard NO. I am fine with that. He is flexible about just about everything else
Thanks for this!

Nope he doesn't believe in Facebook, his exact words 'it creates unnecessary drama in people's lives and if I want to be in contact with somebody that's why they have my number.'

Ironically a lot of the doctor's and mid levels I work with have said something very similar and none of them have a Facebook. My old job it felt like all but like three providers had Facebook and were friends with several of their patients. I thought that was crossing a boundary.

I'm starting to agree with them on the whole Facebook thing and half temped to delete my Facebook.

No we're not facebook friends, but I've seen his business page and we've discussed articles he's posted there a few times. If he's ever gone looking for my personal account then he's never said anything (wouldn't find anything there anyway).
